MemberCame across an odd roof construction recently…..
Clear polycarbonate glazed roof in uPVC frames (a mono pitch conservatory roof at less than 5degree pitch) under which is a suspended thermal tile ceiling (as per your average office or shop suspended tile ceiling). The gap between the suspended tiles and the glazing is 120-150mm.
Under more usual circumstances I’d just put one big skylight in a solid roof but the tiles rather throws that approach and I can’t even guess what alternative ceiling might have a similar U value.
Any suggestions?
